The price of a flight from Paris depends on four things. The estimator on this site lets you test other airports, dates and passenger counts.

      • Distance and flight time. London is under an hour in a jet, Nice takes about 1 hour 20 minutes and Ibiza about 1 hour 50 minutes.
      • Aircraft class. Light jets suit most European trips, and only heavy and ultra-long-range jets fly nonstop across the Atlantic or to the Gulf.
      • The Paris airport. Le Bourget is the default, while Orly and Charles de Gaulle limit business jets and Melun-Villaroche only handles flights within the Schengen area.
      • Season and events. Summer on the Riviera and in Ibiza, fashion weeks in Paris and the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget tighten availability and raise prices. Flexible dates can open up empty leg prices.

You can run other airport combinations, dates and passenger counts in our private jet cost estimator.

Paris has a clear first choice and several fallbacks. Most private flights use Le Bourget, and the others make sense when your plans, your aircraft or your destination point elsewhere.

      Paris Le Bourget (LBG)

Le Bourget is the main private jet airport for Paris, 11 km northeast of the city center and about 20 minutes by car, longer at rush hour. It is open around the clock for arrivals and does not require slots, although noise rules limit jet departures at night, so ask your operator for the latest departure time. Several handlers run terminals there, and it takes everything from turboprops to large VIP jets. It is also where the Paris Air Show takes place, which can tighten availability.

      Paris Orly (ORY)

Orly is south of the city and is mainly an airline airport. Business jets can use it only in specific cases, such as diplomatic flights or a connection with a commercial flight, and it requires slots, prior permission and a night curfew. If Orly matters for your plans, your operator can tell you whether your flight qualifies.

      Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG)

Charles de Gaulle has some of the longest runways in France and suits long-haul arrivals, but it is tightly regulated. Slots and prior permission are required, and a request can be refused when there is no commercial connection. Most private flights choose Le Bourget, which is only a short drive away.

      Melun-Villaroche (XMV)

Melun-Villaroche is a private airfield southeast of Paris, about 45 to 50 minutes from the center by road. It has no slots or curfews and a dedicated business aviation terminal, with a runway of about 6,500 ft. It has no customs, so it only handles flights within the Schengen area. International flights have to stop at a Schengen airport first.

      Toussus-le-Noble, Pontoise and Beauvais

Three smaller airports sometimes come up. Toussus-le-Noble, near Versailles, has a short runway and handles small aircraft only. Pontoise-Cormeilles, northwest of Paris, has a longer runway but still suits turboprops and smaller jets better than heavy aircraft. Beauvais, north of Paris, is mainly an airline airport and takes business jets by arrangement through a handler, so check with your operator.

      Light jet or Turboprops

Ideal for a short hop from Paris to London or Manchester, light jets or turboprop aircraft can comfortably complete the journey in under 90 minutes in the air.

      Light or Midsize Jet

For a short trip to Mediterranean destinations such as Nice, Ibiza or Palma, light or midsize jets offer an ideal journey time of about 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes.

      Heavy Jets

For journeys to New York or the US East Coast, as well as Dubai and the Gulf, heavy jets offer comfortable nonstop flights in about 7 hours.

      Confirm and fly

Send your passenger names and passport details. Every passenger needs a valid passport or, within Schengen, a national ID card. Entry rules depend on the destination and your nationality (a UK ETA for London, for example), so confirm them before you fly.

How much does a private jet from Paris cost?

For short European flights, a light jet from Paris starts at about $7,900 one way to London, $10,100 to Nice and $12,700 to Ibiza. These are indicative estimates for the whole aircraft, and the final price depends on the airport, the date and availability.

Which Paris airport is best for a private jet?

Le Bourget is the usual choice. It is about 20 minutes from the center, does not require slots and has several private terminals. Melun-Villaroche is a quieter alternative for flights within the Schengen area. Choose the airport closest to where you start.

Can a private jet land at Paris Orly or Charles de Gaulle?

Rarely. Orly allows business jets only in specific cases, and Charles de Gaulle requires slots and prior permission, which can be refused without a commercial connection. Most private flights use Le Bourget instead, and your operator confirms what is possible for your date.

Can I use a smaller airport such as Toussus or Pontoise?

Yes, for small aircraft. Toussus-le-Noble has a short runway and suits small aircraft only, and Pontoise suits turboprops and smaller jets. Heavy jets use Le Bourget.

Can I fly from Paris and return the same day?

Yes, on many European routes. A same-day round trip is estimated at about 1.8 times the one-way fare. Jet departures from Le Bourget are restricted at night, so ask your operator for the latest departure time before planning your return.

Which destinations are most popular from Paris by private jet?

London, Nice and Ibiza are the most popular. Flight times are under an hour to London, about 1 hour 20 minutes to Nice and about 1 hour 50 minutes to Ibiza. Longer routes to New York or the Gulf take about 7 hours and need a heavy jet.
